Very tasty food, great staff on the day and smooth planning, our event was a great success and we loved the food and staff – recommend!

We had an absolutely lovely catering experience with Spitting Pig Sussex. We opted for their BBQ menu for our Board Retreat final celebration dinner. They brought all of their own materials, including a grill, and were a joy to chat with while we watched the cook. The food was prepared exactly on time and was hotel, delicious, and plenty! They brought lots of condiments and made sure we were well take-care-of, including taking out the compostable rubbish at the end so we did not even have to clean-up. They left all the food for us and we enjoyed the left-overs well into the next day. Thank you Spitting Pig, Sussex for making our retreat so memorable!

We opted for the Classic menu (slow roasted free range pig) together with marinated chicken thighs which more than comfortably fed 28 people with plenty to spare (food allergies also catered for including extreme gluten sensitivity). Everything was seamless from setting up to serving and then clearing away such that we had absolutely nothing to do other than provide the venue. The two ladies who did our catering were absolutely excellent and the food was delicious. Couldn’t have asked for better and I’d highly recommend them.

Spitting pig from the moment you arrived self sufficient and set up easy, food was incredible, delicious, plenty of food, friendly staff accommodating just all round brilliant to work with and would happily hire again!

Spitting Pig catered for my husband’s 60th birthday party – food was amazing, everyone commented how lovely it was. Great service from start to finish, emails responded to quickly and contact from Marco who was overseeing our event on the day, and all very helpful on the actual day too. Couldn’t have asked for more. Would highly recommend!

We have used this company twice for 2 Xmas events for over 70 people, food was excellent (Hog roast and Turkey including veggie option), food was served hot and so much of it!! Servers were lovely and communication was great!! Would have no hesitation using them again!! Thank you all

After doing some research on the internet i found “The Spitting pig co.” They had some good reviews so gave them a go for a birthday bash in December. Very swift boking process, and helpful to ensure we could fulfill our requirements for the event. Very good communication directly with the team leading up to the event also. Taking place in the middle of December in a pub garden at 6pm, i will admit i was a little worried, about the weather. On the day the staff arrived, of whom where an absolute asset, very polite and helpful on the day, they had a very good idea on there area requirement, and was prepared for any weather eventuality’s. At no hesitation swiftly began to set up and prepare for the 140 guests. Prompt and on time food service begun, i had chosen the festive menu, with a tweak – fresh juicy pork, and beautiful crackling, stuffing, pigs in blankets, the most fab potatoes and a great selection of veg, and creamy cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire puddings, breads, wraps and Gravy, along with the usual condiments. All steaming hot, within 45 mins or so, all the guest’s had been suitably feed, even some having seconds. Even the last people to be served receiving as good quality and hot food as the 1st. Once they had double check all the guest’s had be satisfied, they briskly cleaned down and packed away with no fuss. For the rest on the evening and days following, all people could comment on was how good the food was, the taste, quality and also selection. There was something for everyone. This certainly made this fabulous value for money, and would 100% recommend that anyone looking for a Hog roast should use The Spitting Pig co.

Great food, great people, and great service!, we had a hog roast for 100 people which was perfect, with all dietaries catered for (gluten free, vegetarian and vegan), the service before, during, and after was seemless and cannot recommend enough!

Our event catering was amazing from start to finish. The Spitting Pig team who attended were fantastic from the moment they arrived. Stacie and Leanne were brilliant and so helpful. They made the preparation, serving and clearing down appear completely effortless. The food itself was so delicious, fresh and tasty, I’ve had so many lovely compliments from my guests and I expect you’ll be getting more event bookings from them in the future. I will most definitely be recommending you to friends and family. Thank you so much!

Excellent food & service. They catered for a birthday celebration in the garden. Communication from enquiry to the day was good. The set up was professional and Marco and his team were friendly and efficient on the day (even though battling wind & rain) The food was of the highest quality from the meat, salads, chips and bread. They packed up the leftovers for us and left having cleared up everything If you are looking for stress free catering for an event we would highly recommend
