Part of our responsibility at Hog Roast Worthing as a wedding caterer is to match the menu to the overall experience of the wedding. Picking your wedding dining is so much more than just picking the foods you like (though that is a big part of it; you can think of the dining experience as akin to picking your venue, or choosing your flower arrangement, or colour theming for the day. It is all part of the one experience that makes up your special day.
That is why when you come to us for your wedding catering we will often have a few questions to ask about your special day first. We like to know what your theming is, what the venue is like, what your vision of the day looks like. This helps us to put together a menu and service experience that will add to the day rather than just being a mere part of it.
For example, this past weekend the Hog Roast Worthing team were invited along to a brilliant wedding at Long Furlong Barn in the beautiful Sussex countryside. As a rustic caterer we are no strangers to a barn wedding; as you might expect, a lot of customers view our specialist dining services as a good blend to their rustic barn-style special days. They, of course, would be completely right. Knowing that we are walking into a rustic environment for a wedding allows us to go the whole hog (so to speak) with our specialist dining. Our hog roast is a great match to a rustic barn wedding. So too is our gourmet barbecue range, which is what this excellent wedding enjoyed along with fresh pulled pork from our signature roast – the perfect rustic dining experience. Comforting meats well grilled and/or roasted, and plenty of fresh sides to further add to the rustic dining experience. Fresh slaws, salads, and a medley of regular and sweet potato fries, all to go perfectly along with our gourmet burgers, sausages, and BBQ pulled pork – delish!
Our thanks to our bride and groom and to Long Furlong Barns for being a perfect venue for our rustic wedding catering!
