There’s a tonne of reason to celebrate this summer. We’ve got the World Cup, Wimbledon, now a heatwave on this week, and, for one lucky family, a brilliant birthday celebration that certainly needed some catering attention.
At the weekend, the Hog Roast Uckfield took a quick break from the World Cup catering and the England celebrations following Thursday night to head into town and cater for an excellent birthday celebration. With just shy of 50 guests expected to the celebration, Hog Roast Uckfield catering manager and Head Chef, Marco, had just the thing to bring the whole party together. Our signature hog roast dining experience is a must for just about any celebration, especially one a birthday party in the summer. It’s great for comfort dining as well as seeming truly unique and luxurious. In one go, your party has the type of dining that makes it really feel like an event, as the dining itself creates one out of the experience, while also providing a dining style that is a little more laid back for something like a birthday amongst friends and family.
So, for this event, one hog roast would be more than enough to feed every guest at least twice over. But never to do any kind of half measure, Marco also prepped our homemade sage and onion stuffing, fresh apple sauce, and crispy golden crackling which is always a must for any one of our pork roasts. But again that was not all for this party of 45! An addition of grilled marinated chicken thighs – brilliantly cooked fresh on the grill attachment for our mobile hog roast machine unit – along with side accompaniments of tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed salad, gourmet slaw, freshly made chips, and grilled veg and halloumi skewers rounded out this excellent birthday menu. Served at exactly 1pm, guests were free to come by our buffet table at their leisure through the party to grab what they want and have a small natter with Marco and the Hog Roast Uckfield servers, who catered for every need and want just perfectly all through the brilliant afternoon.
