When most of us think of stag do’
s we think about raucous late nights, a tonne of drinks flowing, maybe even a slight bit of hazing for the stag – as is tradition – and maybe even a full trip away.
But of course a stag do can really be anything that the stag wants. In some cases, something much chiller just at home is all that is called for, and in many ways that is much better – especially when you have the stylish catering of Hog Roast London to enjoy. Swap out the casino nights for a chilled out atmosphere just enjoying each other’s company; forego the late night in favour of a hog roast roll and a beer in comfort; leave out the mass hangover and instead have plenty of leftovers to look forward to the next morning, all with Hog Roast London for your stag event!
This was the option chosen by our customer in London at the weekend, who instead of a big night out on the town simply had 15 of his friends and family around to the house to enjoy a nice chill party-like atmosphere, where everyone had good stories to share and a brilliant bite to eat. Marco and the Hog Roast London team really enjoyed being invited along to serve this one. The stag group were a real joy to be around, making us feel just as welcome as though we were one of the party, too.
For being such an easy going and fun group, they were well rewarded with the very best of our hog roast catering services. One of our prize golden pork roasts, cooked there and then in the traditional spit style in the stags garden, before then being served with perfect golden crispy crackling, sage and onion stuffing, bread rolls and wraps, gourmet slaw, mixed leaf salad, tomato and mozzarella salad, and herb dressed new potatoes. With only 15 in attendance, there was certainly more than enough pork and sides to go around for seconds, thirds, and plenty more for leftovers the next day – an added early wedding gift from the Hog Roast London team!
