Hog Roast Lindfield had a blast at the business networking event we had the opportunity of attending yesterday evening!
Hosted by Nathan, the owner of a local, independent brewery, this function was about spreading the word on his newly-launched enterprise and forging lasting connections with other business owners in the surrounding area. Understanding the importance of these events and how effective they can be as an advertising and business growth tool, Hog Roast Lindfield was determined to deliver an epic feast for the occasion – and you can bet we succeeded!
Having opted to host his event after closing hours in the attached beer garden, Nathan had been looking for us to serve a simple yet mind-blowingly tasty meal to suit the laid-back tone of the evening. So, with that in mind, we opted for our Classic Hog Roast Menu, comprising succulent pulled pork rolls with crackling, applesauce and stuffing that made everyone’s mouth water!
In addition to the wholesome hog roast rolls, our team also rustled up plenty of side dishes, including fresh tomato and mozzarella salad, seasonal mixed salad, herb dressed new potatoes and gourmet coleslaw. Accommodating the small number of veggie/vegan guests in attendance, we also prepared BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls with plant-based toppings.
The atmosphere of this event was lively, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. They were especially fond of the food, which was so good that people kept coming back to us for extra helpings!
As they ate, the guests happily talked about their work, outside interests, and their future plans. Just as Nathan had hoped, it was a great opportunity to connect with people outside of his usual circle, and he even managed to find some local business owners who are happy to promote his craft ales in future.
The event couldn’t have gone better, and according to both Nathan and his guests, the highlight of the evening was definitely the hog roast. Hog Roast Lindfield’s catering manager, Adam, did an excellent job cooking the meat to perfection, and the flavours were out of this world. So much so that the guests were still raving about the food at the end of the night!
