There’s a specific type of dread that comes with hitting your 30s. Through your 20s you feel young and indestructible, ready to take on the world with everything ahead of you. What better fuelling for a massive birthday blowout is there than a whole hog roast, cooked in the authentic spit style and served up with fresh apple sauce, homemade sage and onion stuffing, and crispy crackling from the hog roasting process to add even more flavour and texture to every single bite. Our head chef Marco also had refreshing salads prepared – tomato and mozzarella or mixed leaves – along with fresh red cabbage coleslaw, herb dressed new potatoes, rolls, wraps, and a veggie alternative in our grilled veg and halloumi skewers with a tzatziki dip and sweet chilli sauce. With all that in the bellies, we know the party was going to go the distance!
