The Hog Roast Balcombe brand has existed in event catering for around about three decades now. To us, that seems almost like an impossibly long time, and yet we then had the privilege of catering for a special wedding anniversary this past weekend that eclipses our entire business by a couple of years.
It was the very special 35th wedding anniversary party of Eddie and Angela, and to mark the occasion they had a party in their favourite spot where they first dated some additional years earlier with the aid of Hog Roast Balcombe’s catering. We’re always more than happy to help celebrate love, so for the around 30 guests due to attend, we made sure to have our classic hog roast ready to go. This has been a favourite of Angela and Eddie’s after Eddie first tried it at a work do going on 15 years ago now. They then ordered it for their 25th anniversary at the same venue as this past Saturday, and after the success of that event came calling again to the Hog Roast Balcombe team some ten years on!
We may have a couple of staff changes in that time, but the brilliance of our hog roast remains the exact same. Eddie and Angela were delighted to enjoy it just as much as they did 10 years ago, as did all the guests who came up for seconds and even thirds in some instances. Of course, it’s easy to see why you would come up again and again when you could be enjoying one of the most succulent, delicious, and uniquely made pulled pork’s in all of roast dining! When accompanied with our special golden crackling for added texture, our homemade sage and onion stuffing for added flavour, and our own apple sauce for added juiciness, it becomes a dining experience well worth 35 years of love!
After such a brilliant evening and celebration of love, we look forward to hopefully returning for round three with Hog Roast Balcombe x Eddie and Angela in another 10 years for the 45th anniversary! Or, of course, you could have us in anytime again in between then!
