Braving the elements and roasting lambs in Sussex

 

SP SUSSEX BLOG 

Good afternoon to all our customers and welcome to the Spitting Pig Sussex blog.  Hope everyone is okay and managing to cope with snow and keeping warm in this harsh cold weather.  While most of the area has come to a standstill myself and the catering team are battling on and braving the elements!  We are fully prepared for the cold snap and will be travelling to all of our events wrapped up in layers and layers of our warm Spitting Pig Sussex uniform. We will taking with us marquees, portable heaters, flasks of warm sop and coffee to get us going and massive bags of grit just in case we meet a slippery road on the way.  

We have an event early this evening in Chichester, this is an indoor event (thankfully!) and we are doing a tasty lamb roast for 50 people.  This is a family party to celebrate a silver wedding anniversary.  The lovely couple Mr and Mrs Sandhurst are regular clients of ours.  We have catered for many of there family celebrations over the years and have become great friends of ours so we are especially looking forward to this event.  Congratulations again to John and Cheryl Sandhurst and here’s to another 25 years!
