A trend perhaps worth noticing at Hog Roast Petworth is the growth in our corporate events from the summer into the autumn. As a caterer both for private events like weddings, birthdays, etc, and for corporate events like staff lunches, client meetings, work parties, etc, we see each type of event ebb and flow throughout the year. Unsurprisingly, the summer sees the sharpest rise in weddings most of all, with the summer wedding season more or less taking over our calendar during those middle months in the year when the weather is good. This is also a time of year when corporate events can become less popular in our services, if only briefly. The reason for this is fairly obvious – during the summer staff teams are more scattered with holidays being taken all the way through the season. It’s less likely that an office is going to have their full team at any one time.
The flip of that comes in the autumn, when the weather turns and the wedding season dies down. By the autumn, the holidays are over with and staff teams are all back together and in it for the long haul for the full working routine right the way through to the festive season. What better a time for some stylish corporate catering from Hog Roast Petworth to help break up that stretch when you do have everyone in the office.
Our September at Hog Roast Petworth was rife once more with corporate events from many of our usual clients, along with some new clients who we’ll be hoping to see again soon. It felt right, then, that our September could close out on one such event, as we joined with our corporate partners for a very special catered event. The Hog Roast Petworth team had 125 guests to feed and entertain, which we did with a three part dining experience: an alfresco grazing table with a classic antipasti selection, a follow up signature hog roast lunch, and a stylish closer with our desserts of profiteroles, vacherins of strawberries, and birthday cake with fresh cream too.
