With it being the summer wedding season here at Hog Roast Horsham – even if we are now approaching the end of it – we have been in the mood for love all summer long. To be surrounded by so much of it just about every weekend with our catered weddings has been just wonderful. We can’t get enough.
And luckily we don’t have to stop quite yet. This past weekend was yet another celebration of love and matrimony, only it differed from the rest by not actually being a wedding but a ten year wedding anniversary! Celebrating a decade of marriage is nearly as special as the big day itself, so of course our wonderful lovebirds went all out with the celebrations by hosting a garden party and inviting 100 of their friends and families. With that environment and guest list, you could have mistaken it for the special day itself!
And that goes doubly so when you get Hog Roast Horsham’s speciality wedding dining into the mix. Knowing that this was a decades worth of celebration, we came up with a menu to suit the day. Utilising both the summery vibe of the garden party and the height and specialness of the occasion, our head chef Marco opted for our gourmet barbecue range. This way we could deliver on those excellent summer tastes that we knew customers would be craving, and make up a dining experience that would be just as special as any wedding dining experience too.
Our customers were delighted with the idea, so come the day we had a very special selection of grilled handmade beef burgers, gourmet sausages, and Thai chicken kebabs all available with fried onions and cheese. We can’t forget our veggie guests either, so there was also options of veggie burgers and our grilled veg and halloumi skewers. For even more summery goodness, accompaniments of fresh Greek salad, gourmet coleslaw, seasonal leafy greens, pasta salad, and herb dressed new potatoes were also provided.
For our part, we reckon this was an excellent showing for Hog Roast Horsham yet again. We had a blast catering for these wonderful guests and sharing in this celebration of love. All our best goes to the next ten years, where hopefully we’ll reconvene again!
