2020 has been a stressful and difficult year for us all. Is that the understatement of the century? Probably! But as this challenging year comes to a close, why not end things on a high?
With lockdown restrictions across the country lifting just in time for Christmas, there’s going to be plenty to celebrate come December as many families across the UK reunite for the first time in months. So, save yourself the stress of cooking, serving and cleaning up this festive season (yes, you really did read that last part right!) and bring the family back together again by enlisting in the help of Hog Roast Plumpton Green.
Our much loved Christmas menu is back on the table again this year. And, already we’ve received plenty of bookings from customers and clients all over the country. From cosy family lunches to corporate Christmas parties, the Hog Roast Plumpton Green catering crew have a busy month ahead of them. But after months of stripped-back serves and toned down celebrations, we just can’t wait to get started!
One of our most recent bookings came from Isabelle, who like many of our clients this year, wanted to make this Christmas an extra special one. After mulling over a few ideas, the client stumbled upon our website, and after spotting our festive option, she couldn’t help but place an order.
While we do offer an authentic turkey main course, Isabelle decided that she wanted to change things up completely this year. So, instead, we will be cooking one of our trademark slow roasted, free-range pigs which will be served up with freshly made applesauce, sage and onion stuffing and perfectly crispy crackling. For sides, a medley of seasonal vegetables will be on offer along with golden brown roast potatoes with rosemary and garlic seasoning, juicy pigs in blankets and homemade cauliflower cheese as well as our chef’s own delicious gravy.
Isabelle is just as excited as we are about the upcoming celebration, but, so far she’s managed to keep the Hog Roast Plumpton Green treat a complete secret from her family to ensure they receive a big surprise on Christmas day!
