Hog Roast Biddenden’s latest clients were couple Kane and Kit, who hired the team to produce their wedding buffet. The happy couples wedding party took place in a hotel ‘Blue room’, which matched their blue themed wedding perfectly.
With a confirmed guest list of 30 people, including the happy couple themselves, Clients Kane and Kit worked closely with the Hog Roast Biddenden team to come up with a menu. They were determined to have a big variety of dishes, so that their guests would have plenty of choice.
Catering Manager Kevin was given the challenge of creating the couples beautiful buffet for their blue wedding. He arrived at the venue for the party several hours before the 6pm serving time. Chef Kevin had plenty of space to set up the cooking equipment and serving table. Not only would the food all be put out on the serving table, but the china crockery and cutlery the Hog Roast Biddenden team provided for the event was also set out.
When newlyweds Kane and Kit led their guests to the buffet at 6pm everything was set out and ready to be enjoyed. It was a treat for the eyes and noses, as well as for the stomach!
The buffet Chef Kevin had created included tasty delights such as a Classic Hog Roast, which was served complete with homemade sage and onion stuffing, crispy crunchy crackling and apple sauce. There was also platters of plain grilled vegetable skewers, grilled vegetable and halloumi skewers and exotic BBQ pulled jackfruit. Another platter contained a mountain of fresh, hot sweet potato fries- which could be served loaded if the guests asked Chef Kevin to do. Also on offer was Chef Choice of three fresh salads and a large basket of assorted soft wraps and rolls.
The happy couple were beyond pleased with Chef Kevin’s hard work. Their wedding may have been centred on the colour blue, but the feeling and atmosphere was one of love and happiness.
As Chef Kevin quietly tidied away at the end of the event he couldn’t help but smile, there had been glowing reviews from all of the guests. With all the rubbish being disposed of by Kevin and the Hog Roast Biddenden team Kane and Kit were able to focus on enjoying their special day. It had been perfect.
