Are you getting married? Then why not treat your guests to a show-stopping hog roast spread?
Just imagine the faces of your loved ones when they arrive at the reception venue to see our Hog Roast Smarden catering crew waiting to greet them with a gorgeous, rotisserie-cooked pig with a juicy, fork-tender centre, and an irresistible exterior of salt-infused crispy crackling. Mmm, delicious! But that’s only the beginning; we also have a wide selection of side dishes on offer which are designed to complement every occasion. And, for those non-meat-eaters, we’ve even included some tasty vegetarian and vegan-friendly dishes to our menus.
With flavours to suit everyone’s tastebuds, Hog Roast Smarden is the go-to catering service if you’re looking for total inclusivity, like our most recent clients, Ivy and Joshuah were. In the run-up to their nuptials, the happy couple had gotten in touch with us to discuss details for their wedding breakfast, and with some help and guidance from our catering manager, they were able to find the ideal menu for the special occasion.
Having had to cut their guest list quite considerably, due to lockdown restrictions, the pair had been looking for a more relaxed and informal menu, for which our private party menu 3 was perfect.
Featuring our signature, slow roasted pig with homemade applesauce, sage and onion stuffing, crispy crackling, warm new potatoes in herb butter and a trio of garden-fresh side salads, this feast was everything the couple had been searching for and more. Plus, for the handful of vegetarian guests who would be attending, the pair had also asked that our ever-popular grilled veggie kebabs with chunks of Greek halloumi cheese, tzatziki dip and flatbreads be added to the menu.
The celebrations took place last weekend, and as always, the Hog Roast Smarden catering team arrived at the venue hours early to prep the afternoon feast. By the time the newlyweds made their grand entrance, with their small cluster of guests in tow, the aromatic spread was piping hot and ready to be dished out.
After eagerly devouring the flavoursome meal, the wedding party indulged in a slice of wedding cake which the Hog Roast Smarden team had dressed in ripe berries, a coulis of summer fruits and fresh cream.
