Hog Roast Dymchurch at a spook-tacular 21st birthday party!

Hog Roast Dymchurch’s latest client was a young adult who wanted to celebrate their 21st birthday slightly ahead of time, for fear of another lockdown looming on the horizon. The party was a Halloween themed celebration and the client wanted something a bit fun and rather special for the 20 guests at the event.

The client worked closely with the Hog Roast Dymchurch team to come up with a menu that would be full of treats and no tricks…well, one or two of the spicy dishes weren’t for the faint of heart.

Hog Roast DymchurchThe menu for the buffet was based around the Southern Hog Roast menu, all of which was packed with flavour. There were three meat treats: Cajun Spiced Whole Roast Chickens, Fall off The Bone Louisiana Sticky Pork Ribs and Creole Pulled Quarter of Spiced Lamb. These delicious slow roasted, tender meats were served with the following accompaniments: Jack Daniels Smokey Sweet BBQ Glaze, Cajun Hot Pepper Sauce (which is seriously hot!) and Stubbs Legendary Hickory Bourbon BBQ Sauce. There was however lots of vegetarian friendly dishes on offer too! There was Memphis Style Crunchy Coleslaw, hearty American style Mac & Cheese and the Hog Roast Dymchurch favourite: Grilled Vegetable and Halloumi Wraps which were served with Tzatziki Sauce. Finally, finishing off the buffet there was the traditional deep Southern accompaniment of Skin-On Southern Style Whole Baked Potatoes.

The menu was filling and luxurious. So that there was enough time to prepare and cook al the dishes in time for the 7pm serving time the Catering Manager arrived at the client’s house to set up equipment a little after midday. Every dish was handcrafted by the expert Chef.

As well as providing the food and a Chef to carve and help serve the buffet the catering package selected by the client also included the use of Hog Roast Dymchurch’s wooden crockery and cutlery. Also, after the buffet had been enjoyed by the guests the Chef discreetly tidied away and took any and all rubbish from the buffet away to dispose of safely.
